Winter Blues Evening Ceremony

On Tuesday evening winter blues sashes were presented to recipients in front of their parents and whanau.

It was pleasing to see the large number of cultural blues being awarded this year. In terms of number of awards, this group was larger than the sporting blues recipient group. Four students were honoured with national sporting blues. 

Earlier in the day at senior assembly, certificates were awarded to blues recipients. Not all of these students were able to attend the evening ceremony due to their busy schedules.
