Year 9 Cricket Option

Finally some reliable weather during the Year 9 cricket option.

This week special guests, Otago Volts fast bowler Matt Bacon and Hereford Minor County spinner Ryan Trattell helped out in the cricket option.

The boys were rapt to utilise two expert opinions on their bowling. Both Matt and Ryan went through some drills with the boys. They were able to give some technical and tactical advice to the boys. Our bowlers enjoyed hearing some of their cricketing stories from all over the country and world.

It was great having them join us. We wish them all the best for their cricket this summer.

The Year 9's play their first NZCT game vs Dunstan next Wednesday in Alexandra. Hopefully we can make it through to the second round unscathed.
