Year 13 student Jack Densem graduated with the New Zealand Certificate in Cookery (Level 3) at the Otago Secondary Tertiary College last Friday.
Jack spent one day a week in Terms 1 and 2 and two days a week in Terms 3 and 4 completing his qualification at the Otago Polytechnic.
The course involved:
Jack intends continuing study in the Hospitality/Culinary Arts space in 2020.
Jack's Food and Nutrition teacher Ms Emma Moore attended the graduation along with his parents and Mr Swan.
