Level 3 Art - Tevita Pole

Throughout Tevita's time at Otago Boys' High School, he has consistently contributed to the school community; receiving the Finch Trophy for Rugby this year, acknowledging his dedication and sportsmanship. He also received a Pasifika blue and winter sports blue for rugby.

The topic for Tevita's Year 13 painting portfolio was centered around the cultural influence of China in Samoa. Working with traditional tapa design and symbolism, Tevita developed a more personal approach with the use of stencils and aerosol paint.

Tevita, is looking at going to Otago University next year with a focus on Sports Management.
