The Dunedin Secondary Schools' Futsal competition came to an exciting end on Thursday. Unfortunately, junior tournament week and draw changes meant some teams were struggling to field a team.
Otago Boys' High School had four teams involved directly in the finals. Two of these were playing off the the premier trophy! In an evenly matched game, the 10 Blues won 4 nil over the 10 Golds to secure this title.
In the second division, the 10 Whites drew with a much fancied Kavanagh Raptors. As the top qualifiers they also took the title as there is no added time or penalty shoot out. In the third division, the 9 Blues won before taking the court. Their opposition was on camp. In other games, the 10 Reds beat King's High School to claim third in division 2. The 9 Whites won by default to place third in division 4.
Thank you to the many parents who supported these games.
