Biology students make the most of the Marine Science Centre

Level 2 Biology studies start with an investigation to compare and contrast animal groups.

The students are studying the animals of the estuary; cockles, crabs and fish. The opportunity to head out of school for the day and utilise the wonderfully equipped university labs at the Marine Science Centre is too good to be missed.

The students were able to dissect invertebrates, photograph and video living animals and learn from marine scientists. They will visit the estuary for a full day in early March to complete their studies.
