Luke Geddes has gained a place on the prestigious Peter Blake Inspire event.
This involves a week of adventure-based, experiential learning for young leaders in conservation due to be held in Waikato in September.
Luke is the secretary of our school Sustainability Group and is a key member of the Students Leadership forum for the Kaitiaki Town Belt Project. He attended the ten-day Water Wise Leadership program in the summer school holidays, is an active member of Harbor Watch, and has coordinated student Hui across several high schools in Dunedin.
Otago Boys' High School is proud Luke who puts his hand up not out, and we are delighted that he has been selected to represent OBHS at this Peter Blake forum for young leaders who are keen to make a difference.
Along with Ben Burrow, the OBHS school representative 2019, he will now be eligible to gain training in conservation leadership to become a New Zealand Blake Ambassador while completing tertiary studies.
Congratulations Luke!
