Technology Challenge - Boredom Buster!

By Peter Odgers | Posted: Monday April 13, 2020

The following is a challenge that any OB’s student can participate in. You can get help and advice from any person within your bubble.

Challenge Brief:

You must design and develop an item that you or anybody in your bubble can use as a form of entertainment during the second half of the lockdown.

Specifications:

Any form of recyclable material which you can find around your home must be used to construct your project. There are no specific size limits placed on your design, but it must be able to keep somebody entertained for at least 20 minutes. Construction methods and overall appearance and finishing off will only count if required to determine a final winner.

Entry requirements:

You do not have to submit any of your design drawings but must submit pictures or a video of you using your finished product to beat the boredom of staying at home. Extra points will be awarded for creativity. Entries close at 3pm on Monday 20th April and can be submitted to either Mr Odgers or Mr Densem via e-mail. Canteen vouchers will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd placings.

Judges decisions will be final and no correspondence will be entered into after the winners have been announced.
