2020 Students of the Term - Term 1

We would like to announce our Term One Students of the Term. This award recognises one young man in each year level who has lived our school values: Respect, Perseverance, Honour, Courage and Excellence. He is a student who has shown through his actions these values, not just his potential. This award, we hope, will inspire all our students.

Ethan Des Fountain - Year 9

Ethan is organised and dedicated to all aspects of his learning. An enthusiastic and interested student who actively seeks and acts on teacher feedback. Ethan is a student who strives to achieve his own personal excellence.

Tama McNamara - Year 10

Tama exemplifies the school value of perseverance. He strives to do his very best and completes every single piece of work to the best of his ability. Tama has the courage to ask questions to deepen his understanding. 

Sam Gavin - Year 11

Sam is dedicated to every aspect of his school life. From his commitment to kapa haka to assisting younger students with waterpolo or just striving for excellence in the classroom. Sam is a fine young man who helps and supports others with good humour. 

Jonathan Burnside - Year 12

Jonathan is always well prepared and totally committed to learning. He completes all work to exceptional standards and encourages others in the class. His ability to manage his time to balance his commitment to rowing is an example to all.

Liam Higgins - Year 13

Liam perseveres and pushes himself to do his best in all areas. He has the courage to ask questions when further clarification is needed. Liam exemplifies the school values.
