Head of Maths, Mr Sykes, meets up with about a dozen keen boys on a Thursday morning at 7.30am for a run around the Town Belt before school.
They have hot porridge at the canteen afterwards and are all set to go for the first class at 8.50am.
Some of the boys were keen enough to take it further, into the weekend.
Luke Geddes, Boudewijn Keenan, Max Cunninghame and Moss Pelvin started leaving their houses from 7am on the coldest morning so far this year, Sunday 14th June, met up at the bottom of the Pineapple Track. They ran up Flagstaff and Swampy, came down Leith Valley Rd, and ran home again.
All in time for morning coffee and a second breakfast at 10.30am.
