As part of our topic on Forces and Motion in Year 10 Science, 10H investigated the use of levers in class this week.
After finding out a little bit about levers for homework, groups made catapults to see who could fire a missile the furthest.
While there was no clear winner, the engineering challenge gave the boys a chance to test and solve design issues. One group (Tim Orchiston, Adam Feist, and Jack Marsh) enjoyed the project so much that they had to take a photo of their catapult for posterity!
