1st XI take the title

Our first XI completed an unbeaten season with a 2 nil win in the Premier School competition on Wednesday night.

The game against King's High School was a real arm wrestle with King's giving a good account of themselves.

As the game progressed, we came more into the game and started to dominate, unfortunately, without scoring despite carving out some very good opportunities. We went into extra time and again we dominated possession. Eventually the ball fell to Oliver Colloty who struck a low drive with his left foot for a 1-nil lead.

With only minutes to go King's took risks going forward which left some gaps at the back. Yun Chang took advantage to get in behind and scored a lovely goal to give us a 2-nil result.

It was a fantastic team effort led by Jak and Reuben as part of the back 5 including Alex Boomer who stifled the King's forwards all night. The midfield of Will, Oliver and Ben worked hard and set up many opportunities for the front 3.

The trophy is home after a 2 year absence!
