Otago Boys’ High School were recognised for Excellence in Environmental Care and Sustainability by the Keep New Zealand Beautiful Dunedin branch.
The Town Belt Kaitiaki project is led by OBHS students and our hostel Year 10 lads have adopted a site to mirror the model site set up in the Town Belt monitored by OBHS students.
Ben Burrow, student leader was not available for the presentation. Luke Geddes, our able Sustainability Group secretary, Lachlan Williams and Hadi Taha were able to meet with Mayor Aaron Hawkins and collect the first place award at a ceremony on Tuesday night.
