Olympic Weightlifting National Championships

Last weekend Year 12 student Patrick Sefo-Cloughley competed in the 2020 Olympic Weightlifting Championships held in Mount Maunganui.
Patrick won gold in the 110kg Snatch and the 125kg Clean and Jerk categories, but unfortunately had to pull out of the event after injuring himself warming up at 140kg.
Not only has Patrick been named in the top High Performance Youth team, he also was awarded a $500 sponsorship deal with RAISElower.
