Technology project for the Year 7s and 8s from our neighbours at Arthur Street School.
The Year 7s made storage boxes, learning how to join wood. The students showed their creativity by designing individual opening mechanisms. The Year 8s created individual picture frames inspired by animals, musical instruments, and other interesting things like a trident.
The students shaped their pieces of custom wood with a variety of tools and we used the CNC machine to cut out the openings for the pictures.
Good fun:-)
