On Monday the 15th of March, the Year 12 Biology students went on a field trip to Blueskin Bay.
They got their feet wet and hands dirty in the pursuit of finding what lives in the intertidal zone of the Estuary.
Students laid out transect lines and sampled the marine life using quadrats. Plenty of cockles and mud snails thrived and even an octopus was found!
A great day out was had; now to process all the data collected.
