The big question the Year 11 Geography class has been asking the residents of Dunedin is: Does street art encourage people to interact with an urban environment?
This week, as part of their research internal, the Year 11 Geography classes have been out and about looking at street art in Dunedin. Students completed environmental assessments on different street art locations, conducted surveys of the Dunedin public asking their opinion and are recognising the patterns formed by the different art pieces.
Students will analyse their data, make conclusions based on their aims and will review their research process.
So, what do you think? Does street art in Dunedin encourage people to interact with an urban environment?
