Nicholas has a genuine passion and interest towards pursuing a career in the electrical industry.
Over the recent school holiday break, he took the opportunity to assist his father Andrew undertaking maintenance on the main pipeline at Milford Sound.
Today Nicholas commenced his first Gateway day on placement with Aotea Electric Southern. For the remainder of this term and for most of term three, Nicholas will spend Fridays on work sites. He will back up his practical experiences by undertaking Skills NZ Electrical Unit Standards in his timetabled Gateway periods at School.
We wish Nicholas well and are grateful to Aotea Electric Southern for providing this opportunity.
