12ODR didn't let a gloomy Dunedin day hold them back from scaling new heights.
Having spent the last few weeks in the comfort and safety of the Logan Park High School's indoor climbing wall, it was on to some real rock climbing on Monday.
Port Chalmers quarry was the site used. The vertical height here is around 15m. With more elevation and heavier consequences if you got it wrong the boys rose to the challenge.
Next week the bar is raised higher as they will take on Long Beach. With more than twice the vertical height of Port Chalmers it should provide a real thrill!
