The New Zealand Internal Biology Olympiad (NZIBO) programme kicked off last week.
It is a rigorous process to select four students from across New Zealand to compete in the International Biology Olympiad. The first stage is an entrance exam that selects students for the tutorial programme.
Four of our young men, Whetu Price-Koopu, George Hamilton, Ronan Melville and Bruce Zhang put their hands up to sit the exam last week. Two of our participants, George and Ronan, are among the 269 students from across New Zealand that were offered a place in the tutorial programme.
Congratulations lads, and well done to all four students for choosing to sit such a difficult exam.
