OBs old boys to play in FIFA qualifiers

Two former Otago Boys’ High School footballers, Tyrell Barringer-Tahiri (Cook Islands) and Cameron Howieson (New Zealand), have been named in their respective country’s squads for the upcoming Oceania FIFA World Cup 2022 Qualifiers.

Tyrell, who is a defender, is currently based in London (playing his football with AFC South London). Cameron is an attacking midfielder who plays for Auckland City in the New Zealand Football Championship.

The tournament is being played in Qatar over the next few weeks. We wish them all the best.
