One of our core values is Honour. To us that means honouring the past and creating positive futures. Something we often say in our school is to put your hand up to serve, not out to receive. This ANZAC Day would be a fine example of that value.
Each year on ANZAC Day our school is represented at the Dawn Parade by a large contingent of students and staff.
Please meet me beside the Cargill Monument in the Exchange at 5.50am in full school uniform to participate in the march. If you are away from Dunedin on ANZAC Day I would encourage you to find out where the local Remembrance Service is being held and attend.
It is great to see young men positively remembering those who cannot speak for themselves. ANZAC Day remains a key date in the calendar of every New Zealander.
