2022 Students of the Term - Term 1

We would like to announce our Term One Students of the Term.

This award recognises one young man in each year level who has lived our school values: Respect, Perseverance, Honour, Courage and Excellence. He is a student who has shown through his actions these values, not just his potential. This award, we hope, will inspire all our students.

Congratulations to the following recipients:

Year 9
Charlie Hore
Charlie has made a positive start to his time at Otago Boys’. He is engaged, interested, positive and displays the school values at all times. Charlie is respectful, perseveres and produces excellent work.

Year 10
Shaun Hasler
Shaun follows all instructions and does so without question. He is an excellent supporter of other students. Shaun is engaging, positive and completes his work to a high level. He was outstanding on Year 10 Camp, always inclusive, positive and willing to help.

Year 11
Ousama Haroura
Ousama is a very diligent student who works extremely hard outside of class to ensure he keeps up. He is always positive and is motivated to achieve his personal best.

Year 12
Matt Begg
Matt is a quiet, respectful student who strives to achieve his potential. He is an independent, diligent worker and he sets extremely high goals for himself. 

Year 13
George Hamilton
George works hard to support fellow students and is a Prefect. A fine all round student that exhibits school values and expectations. He was a valued senior camp leader for the Year 10s and was an outstanding role model for them.
