Introducing the library leadership team

Due to Covid and absences, the announcing of this year's Head Librarians has been delayed.

I am pleased to announce that Aaron Nelson is Head Librarian for 2022 and Cheol Shin is the Deputy Head Librarian.

Aaron has been a hard worker in the library since starting at Otago Boys' in Year 9. Not only does he help with regular duties around the library he has a love of books and libraries. Aaron is my go to person for discussing ideas around changes and initiatives for the library. He has fantastic suggestions of his own that we very often adopt. I am very much looking forward to seeing Aaron lead the library assistant crew this year.

Cheol is one of the hardest workers in the library. He is always the first person to offer to train new students and take on extra roles. Cheol embodies the Otago Boys' ethos of hand up, not out. Cheol is a Year 12 student and we are very happy to have him in the library beyond 2022.
