Wānanga days for senior students

Tomorrow our staff and students are trialling Wānanga Days.

These are being held on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for the next two weeks. Our senior students will spend the day with one of their teachers.

At this busy time of the year we hope these days will allow our students some uninterrupted, focused time to either complete work or have a new learning experience. As we know, some subjects are disadvantaged by a one hour timetable.

I am really excited that our staff have chosen to give these days a trial, and we will review them with both staff and students in Term 3.

Please be aware that due to Covid 19, we still have some staff away. If your son's teacher is away, you will receive an email and they will be set work to complete at home. The Year 13 study classes will also be working from home during their timetabled classes.

Again, I am excited to see what the boys can achieve and hopefully it will provide them real focus through to the end of the term.
