Rugby coaching course

Recently Year 12 and 13 members of the 1st XV completed an “Introduction to Rugby Coaching” course with the help of the Learning Place.

The course ran for 3 days, and covered topics such as understanding the individual needs of players in a team environment, how to plan and run a coaching session and understanding injuries as well as how to manage risks in a sporting situation. 

The students were able to gain 14 credits at Level 3 via completion of this course and we thank the Learning Place for their support.
