Be Specific
Don't say you saw a dog, say you saw a Labrador
or a golden retriever or a chihuahua

Don't just tell me that it ran,
Because that's just bland
Say that he darted, dashed or scurried

Don't say that the park behind the dog was nice
Say it was a beautiful, lush, enchanted place
A place with big old trees
And a warm, refreshing breeze
A breeze that put a smile on your face

Don't tell that the air smelt nice
Say it smelled of fresh grass and apple pie
A smell so good it made you sigh
And tell me that the birds sang in the sky
