NZ Secondary Schools Swimming Championships

Congratulations to OBHS students Daniel Gilbert and Taka Sugiyama who competed in the New Zealand Secondary Schools Swimming Championships held in Hamilton from the 28th to the 31st of July.

With over 900 secondary students from across New Zealand attending the event, the boys did extremely well for themselves!

Daniel's results:
400m Freestyle = 5th
200m Butterfly = 3rd (Bronze Medal)
100m Freestyle = 13th
50m Butterfly = 11th
100m Butterfly = 4th (just missed bronze by 0.01sec)
200m Freestyle = 9th

Taka's results:
100m Medley = 18th
200m Breaststroke = 16th
50m Breaststroke = 14th
100m Freestyle = 17th
100m Breaststroke = 14th
50m Butterfly = 34th
100m Butterfly = 17th
200m Medley = 13th
