OBHS acquires a new cricket bowling machine

The 2022/23 cricket season got underway with the sun shining for a group of excited Year 9 cricketers on Wednesday, 28th September.

Even more exciting, they got to try out the new cricket bowling machine. The images below show the injured Coen Breen feeding the bowling machine whilst Toby McLean is the first player to face the bowling machine.

The bowling machine was purchased through funds raised for a trip to India that was cancelled due to COVID plus additional funds that have been kindly donated by Lawrence and Jenny Alloo. It was great to have Lawrence in attendance to view the first delivery and the images were also taken by Lawrence.

I’m sure this bowling machine will get plenty of use and will be extremely beneficial to the development of our boys.
