Off road success

Last weekend, Year 11 student Ty Gaspar represented Otago at the 1/8th Nitro Off Road South Island Championships.

Ty made the B mains and was in the bump position but had a mechanical issue which ended his run. He was showing fast pace up until then being the 2nd fastest of all the Otago representatives.

He is now looking forward to attending Nationals which are being held in Auckland next February.

We expect supercar driver Shane van Gisbergen to attend the NZ Nationals next year to try and secure his 3rd RC title. It is a massive growing sport which requires an immense amount of mechanical and technical knowledge to complete let alone precise hand-to-eye coordination.
