ODT Quiz grand final

Last Friday 10B students Thomas Cargill, Cormac De La Harpe, Shaun Hasler and William Munro headed down to Otago Museum to compete in the ODT Quiz Grand Final.

They were a part of two teams that qualified in the top six out of over 250 teams from around the country in the preliminary rounds. Due to the busy time of year, we were only able to send one team rather than our two qualifiers. 

The students' knowledge was put to the test in 10 rounds of current events knowledge that ranged from local to global topics. They worked extremely well together demonstrating our school values of respect and perseverance. They rallied to post 73 out of 100 in a very tough quiz. The boys impressed and secured a 4th place spot.
