Year 13 Formal

The Year 13 Formal will be held on Saturday, 20 May at the Otago Museum. Payment is due by Friday, 5 May.

This event is regarded by the seniors as the social highlight of the year. Our young men and their partners go to considerable lengths to dress appropriately for this formal occasion. 

Ticket prices are $195 for a double. This includes a full buffet meal and dessert. There are no single ticket sales.

Please be aware we have budgeted this event on 150 people.  If we do not meet this target, we may need to cancel.  Cancellation also could be triggered by a Covid-19 outbreak. 

There is a strict deadline for payment by Friday, 5th May.  It is important that we receive payment by this date, so if we do need to cancel, it allows plenty of time to inform the businesses involved. 

An emailed letter was sent on the 24 April with a permission form that needs to be handed into the school office or emailed to [email protected]

The evening will begin at 6.45pm, with all boys and their partners seated for a formal dinner at 7.30pm.  For security reasons, the doors will be closed at 7.30pm.  Attendees are expected to remain at the function until the doors re-open at 10.45pm.  It is important they are collected by 10.45pm.
