This year we have introduced the Student Volunteer Army Service Awards.
This week, we profile another two students who are putting their hands up to help both the school and the community.
Benjamin Richards
Benjamin has been actively involved in leading a week long youth camp held at Waihola.
Throughout the week, Benjamin organised a variety of outdoor activities as well as overseeing the preparation of meals. He was responsible for the safety and wellbeing of the youngsters attending the camp.
Over the last couple of years, Benjamin has managed the live stream for his church, casting services to YouTube reaching out to members at home.
Cheol Shin
Cheol is an active member of our school community. As the OBHS Head Librarian, Cheol is responsible for leading our librarian group, running events and general library duties. He is currently the Deputy Head Chairman of the Student Council and has in the past also held the position of Secretary. Cheol is also a member of both the Arts Council and Service Group Committee.
As a member of the OBHS Choir, Cheol recently performed at the RSA Anzac Revue held at Knox Church.
