Another great day out for biology.
Our Year 12 classes were out investigating and exploring the ecology of the Dunedin rocky shore and intertidal zone at the University of Otago's Marine Studies Centre.
This is part of our Biology 2.6 internal Between the Tides. The emphasis in this standard is for the student to investigate a pattern (or its absence) in an ecological community with reference to an environmental factor and the biology of inter-related organisms of different species. Wow, flash!
An enjoyable day collecting data, except for the bus breaking down for 1 hour. The boys took it in their stride and made it to rugby practice.
