Last weekend I had the honour of representing New Zealand at the FISAF (Federation of International Sport Aerobics and Fitness) Pacific Open in Melbourne.
Not only did I get to compete on the international stage, I also got to watch some of the best in the world compete.
It was really cool to compete under different regulations and see varying levels of ability and some impressive talent.
I was able to come home with a gold medal!
Team NZ had a pretty successful stint, receiving 16 medals from the 13 categories we competed in. We also got to partake in workshops run by world champions and international judges.
It was an extremely valuable and unreal experience and I look forward to the national series which commences in August.
