Matariki photo competition

After the break we will hold a photography competition in the library. The theme will be Matariki.

To participate, take a photo over the holidays that relates to how you observe Matariki. Bring your photo in or send a digital copy to [email protected]. Include a caption.

Photos will be displayed in the library where they will be judged and prizes awarded to the winning snaps.

Matariki is about heading home, spending time with family, sharing food, getting out into nature, remembering those who have passed, and thinking about what you want from the year ahead. Your photo can reflect on any of these themes.
