Man of the Week
Congratulations to Year 12 Jack Tisdall, who always shows up for his sports teams and gives is all. He always chooses to help when he’s around the hostel and never causes a fuss. Has a great positive attitude and a good bloke to have the hostel. Well done Jack.
Weekend Activity
Last Sunday our boys enjoyed some time down at Mega Zone with some laser tag both in groups and as individuals in the game zone. Lots of fun was had and lots of laughs.
Mitchell Cup - Swimming
The Houses took to the swimming pool on the first night of the week for the honour of their house claiming bragging rights for the Swimming. Campbell House won the main whole hostel relay, but Hawthorne House took out the overall honours to claim first place.
Results:
1 - Hawthorne
2 - Campbell
3 - Thomson
4 - Nicholson

In recognition of his outstanding positive attitude and effort in school. Goes the extra mile to help others. Encourages his peers and is always polite and courteous to everyone, while always completing his classwork and homework. Well done Hunter.
Congratulations to Year 12 Shamus Young who competed in the New Zealand Junior Farmer completion held in Timaru with his paired team winning the practical section of the competition and finishing as a team 4th overall in New Zealand. Well done Shamus.
