On Monday, 21 August, students in Years 11 to 13 will not be attending their regular classes.
Instead, they will schedule a 20 minute, in-person appointment with their respective form teacher. We strongly encourage parents and caregivers to participate in these appointments. Please have a conversation with your son to determine a suitable time for your in-person attendance, or feel free to directly contact his form teacher to arrange an appointment slot.
We understand that many of you have already taken part in recent parent interviews with subject teachers. However, this meeting presents a unique opportunity to discuss your son's academic progress towards NCEA, his goals, and future pathways. Form teachers possess a holistic overview of his progress and can provide valuable insights.
For the remainder of the day, it is expected that students will remain at home and use their time to study and prepare for the school exams, which will be running from the 14 to 22 September. These exams are an important checkpoint in preparation for the NCEA exams in November.
