Gateway 2023

I have been hosted by Barry Dell Plumbing for my Gateway experience.

Having been placed at Barry Dell Plumbing for just over a term, has been the best experience while being at school. 

I have learnt heaps of new skills including how to use the tools. The employees have given me loads of advice and helped me around the workshop when I was unsure of what to do. 

The best experience was going out and fixing a big leak at the University. We had to remove three metres of dirt from the ground with the digger to get to the pipes. It was a terrific experience. 

This placement has given me many different opportunities including going into people's homes to fix pipes, leaks and just helping with anything I can.
