Otago Boys’ Talent Quest 23 semi-final results

Held on the 9th and 10th of August 2023, Otago Boys’ Talent Quest 23 put on their semi-final round in the library with great success.

10 acts got up and performed songs from singing Billy Joel's iconic hit “Uptown Girl”, to a saxophone-led version of “Islands In The Sun” by Weezer.

10 acts performed in the semi-final round, but only 5 can make it through to the finals, held on the 22nd of August during senior assembly. We are hoping to live stream the event for friends and family to be able to watch.

Congratulations to everyone who made it through. A big thank you to Mr Matthew Dadley, Mr Konrad Hanson, and Dr Maria Zammit for judging, Mr Tim Ashdown for being the MC, Ms Kelly Kinghorn for organising the library, and everyone else who helped organise and run the semi-finals. Onto the Finals where we will have 3 exciting judges and 5 exciting acts!
