Polyfest 2023

Tēnā koutou katoa, Bula vinaka, Fakaalofa lahi atu, Ia orana, Kam na mauri, Kia ōrāna, Mālō e lelei, Talofa, Talofa lava, Taloha ni and Greetings.

Polyfest 2023 was an important cultural event held this year in Dunedin at the Edgar Centre bringing together and celebrating 30 years of Polyfest joining our diverse and special Pasifika cultures through dance and song.

Our school in tandem with Otago Girls' High School formed the group to become known as Tamaiti O Le Moana.

Hundreds of hours went into creating these performances to showcase the importance and deep cultural significance this has to our students.

Those who were lucky enough to attend or watched on live stream were overwhelmed with the performance of Pasifika and Maori akonga from around the Otago region, our Tamaiti O Le Moana were amazing.
