Greetings and welcome to our School House hostel families and wider community.  Welcome to Term 4. We hope you have enjoyed your first week without your son/s as get back into the swing of things in hostel and down at school. It has been great to have your son/s back in School House hostel and connected again with their peers and our staff.  Here is some information and updates.

Leavers Rugby League Match - Friday 20th October - 3:45pm

Our much anticipated rescheduled Leavers Rugby League match  on Littlebourne will be on next Friday 20th October at 3:45pm.  Come down and watch our School House Year 13s take on the Day Boy Year 13s in the annual Rugby League Leavers match. Hope to see you there.

Long Weekend Friday 20th - Monday 23rd October

Next weekend is the long Labour Weekend.  We encourage you to take your son/s away for the long weekend and enjoy some quality down time as most of the country will be doing so. We do understand that this may not be possible so if your son is unable to go home then we will look after them in the hostel.  It will help our planning if you could let us know if your son/s will be staying in over the long weekend. Please send an email to [email protected] 

Storage container - Summer Break being cleared

For our families and boys who currently store some gear in our container please note that we ask at the end of the term you take your son/s gear with you as we will be having a big clear out of items over the summer break. 

Weights Equipment is ready and available

Our Weights Equipment is now available for our boys and they have been using the equipment from this week.  Thanks again to our School House Committee for listening to our boys voice and implementing an initiative that many boys wanted access to in School House.  We will continue to add to this as time goes on.  We are also happy to accept any donations of equipment towards the weights room also.

Monday 30th October - Skippers Feast (Year 13 Farewell Dinner)

Tuesday 31st October - Senior Prize Giving

Wednesday 1st November - Year 13 March out of the Archway and Seniors on study leave.

Monday 6th November - NCEA Exams start

Thursday 30th November - Last NCEA Exam

Friday 1st December - Year 7 Open Day from 9am & Year 8 Overnight Stay from 2pm

Friday 8th December - Last Day of School for Juniors
