A celebration of our Pasifika students

Malo le soifua, kia orana, malo e lelei, ni sa bula, taloha ni, fakaalofa atu, mauri, halo olketa, kia ora and warm pacific greetings.

The Pasifika prize giving for 2023 was held on Tuesday evening.

We celebrated another good year with our wonderful Pasifika students and their cultural, sporting and academic achievements. We also farewelled a large group of Year 13 boys including our Head Boy for 2023, Simi Puni.

The boys were treated to a very inspiring speech by our special guest speaker Dr Xaviour Walker. A very special thank you from myself and the Pasifika parent committee to the Rector and staff who attended last night and who have worked to support these fantastic young men in their journey through Otago Boys' High School.

Finally, a very heartfelt thank you to Pelu Taele-Pavihi for looking after our boys at Tama Tula'i and supporting myself and the staff.
