Good character award

Congratulations to Year 13 student William Thode.

At the final senior assembly for 2023 William was awarded the Stuart Stevenson Good Character Award. Inaugurated in 2017, this award is voted by all Year 13 students. The award is in memory of Stuart Stevenson. Stuart, an OBHS old boy who attended between 1970-74 and who is remembered by friends and family as 'a good bloke'.

William is just the third hostel boy to win this coveted award. It traditionally goes to the Year 13 student who has been found by his peers to demonstrate the attributes of a good man. This is a great way for the school to acknowledge the importance of character and integrity. We could not find better words to describe William, who has always shown great brotherhood.
