Climbing competition of the year

Thursday morning saw the last OBHS climbing competition of the year.

The challenge was for each boy to climb their seven hardest problems in 90 minutes.

Everyone gave it their full effort, with some outstanding performances.

The results were: 

Open Division - James Hulyer (1st on countback), Luca Verheul and Conor Purvis
Handicap Junior Division - Maxx McFarlane
Handicap Senior Division - Conor Purvis

We will have our final Tuesday session next week and memberships end a week later. I will be emailing details of a summer membership offer to Term 4 climbers early next week.

Finally, a big thank you to friends and whanau who have supported the climbing group this year. In particular, everyone at Resistance Climbing who have happily helped our boys with new techniques and answered thousands of questions.
