Top touch referee

Year 13 student Jensen Hemmingsen has recently returned from the National Youth Touch Tournament.

He was on the field, but not playing. Jensen was at the tournament as a referee. At the end of the 3 day competition, he was ranked second. 

This led him to be selected as one of 12 junior referees across New Zealand to attend a camp for elite junior referees. Here the participants will train, enabling them to extend their performance and start refereeing international games.
