Year 11 Science

This year we are studying a whole new course in Level 1 Science.

We have been out investigating the town belt, monitoring the plant and animal species present around the school.

So far we have placed chew cards and found evidence of many possums and rats, and we will follow this up with tunnel traps for a wider range of species. We have also taken a survey of the plant species present, and we are figuring out how many endemic and invasive species are present.
