Level 1, 2 or 3 Can Be Endorsed For Higher Achievement

Excellence Endorsement (A Pass)
50 or more Excellence Credits at that level

Merit Endorsement (B Pass)
50 or more Merit Credits at that level

Course Endorsement
Students will gain an endorsement for a course if, in a single year, they achieve:

14 or more credits at Merit or Excellence, and at least 3 of these credits from
externally assessed standards and 3 credits from internally assessed standards.

Note, this does not apply to Physical Education, Religious Studies and level 3 Visual Arts.

University Entrance

Once you have met the requirements for University Entrance this will appear on your Record of achievement.
From 2015 a level 3 pass will be required as well as having:

Level 3 of which 42 credits is made up of:

14 credits from an approved subject
14 credits from an approved subject
14 credits from an approved subject

Literacy Requirements
10 credits in English at Level 2 or higher made up of:

5 credits in reading and 5 credits in writing

Numeracy Requirements
10 credits in Numeracy at Level 1 or higher
