Tennis Court redevelopment

Target: $800,000
Completed: February 2016

The OBHS Tennis courts have held great significance to School as orginially  they were home to the OBHS Hostel.

With time and wear and tear they were in need of repair and through generous donations of time and funds we achieved a multi purpose surface.

The lower courts have an all weather surface and are marked out for a range of sporting activities.  The weather proved that the courts will live up to their intended purpose.  The upper courts will be resurfaced with Plexipave, which is the same surface that Australia's Tennis Open is played on.

We would like to thank our sponsors for their generous support of this project:

Mitre 10 Mega, Eion and Jan Edgar Charitable Trust, Graeme Marsh, Valspar, Programmed Project Management, OBHS Foundation, Lion Foundation and the Otago Community Trust.
